Tell The Raven Archives

Before I became a fourth grader I had to go to kindergarten, 1st, 2nd,and on.
I started kindergarten in Arctic Light. The kindergarten teacher was Mrs. Stiller. That was my favorite teacher. I always wanted to stay in that class but I had to move on.

My next teacher was Mrs. Curtis. She was a nice first grade teacher. She had these little bookmarks with our names on it. If we got three of those bookmarks then the teacher had to call our parents. If we had to bookmarks then it was a ten minute time out. If we got one of those bookmarks then we had a warning. The colors were red, blue, and green. Green was for a warning, blue was for a time out, and red was for a call to parents. I think I got three or four red bookmarks. All I am trying to say that Mrs. Curtis was a good teacher.

My next teacher was Mrs. Linden. She was a teacher that was kind and even. When she was out she expected us to be on our best behavior. The substitute that we had always made sure that we were on our best behavior. On the last day of school in second grade was so fun because we got to have a picnic. The next day I heard that we were moving to a new house. When I heard the news then I wasn't really happy because that was my favorite school. So on the last day at that school I had to go to my new school. When I got to the new school I didn't know what grade I was going to be in. I went in the school and the principal Mr. Gillis said hello and welcome to Wood River. I went to my class and found out that I was in second grade. She was also a nice teacher but she didn't play when we were getting loud and chatting to much. As I went on with the year I got to know a lot of people. And I got to meet a lot of friends. That was how much I liked second grade.

Then came along third grade. My third grade teacher was Mrs. Levison. She was also a good teacher but if you did anything wrong then she would tell you to go to the office. We always got to go to the next door to watch a reading rainbow movie. I got to meet a lot of friends there too. I always got to get a second recess and we had fun on the second recess. I enjoyed being in third grade.

The next thing I hear now is that we are moving again. That was when I heard that I was going to Denali. I said there is a school called Denali? When I got here I was so happy because I was in the fourth grade. I thought that fourth grade was going to be hard but I really had fun in fourth grade. I got to learn about different things and I really got to know a lot of kids. I thought that my years in school were going to be hard but I didn't have to worry about anything.
